If you felt a strong sense of community spirit over the bank holiday weekend, it could have been because this Summer has been jam packed full of community events all over the UK.
From Diamond Jubilee street parties and Olympic viewing picnics to music festivals and carnivals, seeing communities come together has been one of our favourite parts of this year so far.
The contribution of local charity and community groups towards the success of these events is tremendous, with many being organised by volunteers and part-time staff who prepare for events all year long!
Some of our favourites include Deans Festival and Brazilica Samba Carnival!
