This month we’ve had some great charities as our Featured Charity on the homepage!
At the beginning of the month we featured Theatre Orchard Project in North Somerset who aim to bring the local, rural community together through arts and performance. They are currently touring professional shows around 16 rural venues and have enabled local people on the Bournville estate to establish their own community theatre. Our current Featured Charity is East London based Arthritis Self-Help Network (ASNET) who support people of all ages who suffer from arthritis. As well as providing emotional and practical support, ASNET also aim to educate the public in order to reduce social isolation of those affected by this condition.
ASNET will be participating in The Dragon Boat Race Festival a local charity fundraiser, and are hoping to top last years success of raising £3,000!
